ALL ABOARD "BORT"!

In Uzbekistan, static and dynamic tests of the new traffic safety system were successfully carried out according to a methodology agreed with Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU), and, following the roadmap, trial operation is underway for the TEM2 6606 diesel locomotive of the Uzbekistan depot of JSC Uzbekiston Temir Yullari, equipped with the "Bort" locomotive traffic safety system developed by Transtelesoft LLC, following a major overhaul at the Tashkent Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant, O'ZTEMIRYO'LMASHTAMIR UE.

For the first time in the "Bort" locomotive safety system, at the request of the locomotive crews of TCh "UZBEKISTAN" and the TSTU management, high-resolution video output to the driver's OMI monitor from the front cameras was implemented for viewing the blind spots on the opposite side of the driver's workstation, which significantly improves traffic safety, occupational safety, and the convenience of operating a shunting locomotive, especially when the driver works alone.
