News from the "TransportFest 2026" venue
On May 21, 2026, the grand opening of the 7th International Transport Festival "TransportFest" took place at Manezhnaya Square in St. Petersburg. Transtelesoft presented its products for rail transport interiors at the TMH stand.
This year's TMH delegation included: Daria Marku, CEO of TMH-Gortrans; Roman Mironov, First Deputy CEO of TMH-Gortrans; Andrey Stepnov, CEO of Metrovagonmash; Valentin Yadritsev, CEO of the October Electric Locomotive Building Plant; Pavel Svyatnenko, CEO of TMH-TM; and Nikolay Petrov, Deputy CEO of Movista Group.

The Transmashholding stand was visited by Kirill Polyakov, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, and Evgeny Kozin, Head of the St. Petersburg Metro. Kirill Valentinovich noted the importance of developing infrastructure alongside the delivery of new rolling stock, and highlighted the need to develop digital technologies, including unmanned transport. During the conversation, the vice-governor suggested considering the delivery of training simulators to St. Petersburg for training train drivers and public transport operators.
The TMH stand at TransportFest featured information about the "Yubileyny" and "Baltiets" metro cars, which were and are being built specifically for the St. Petersburg Metro. Over the past 10 years, more than 850 units of rolling stock have been built at the October Electric Locomotive Building Plant (OEVRZ) for the metro. The plant is one of the oldest industrial enterprises in the country — this autumn it will celebrate its 200th anniversary! Yet the plant remains young at heart: its production facilities are equipped with modern equipment capable of manufacturing rolling stock based on cutting-edge technology.

Control systems by TMH-TM and the SIP passenger information system by Transtelesoft
The St. Petersburg Metro uses microprocessor-based traffic control systems developed by TMH-TM. More than 400 trams and 240 metro trains in the city are equipped with onboard automatic train operation equipment. Over 60 railway infrastructure facilities are fitted with automatic point-heating and switch-control systems.
Pavel Svyatnenko, CEO of TMH-TM (part of the Intelligent Systems division), presented Kirill Polyakov with modern integrated safety and automated control systems for urban rail transport, noting that these systems have already been deployed in St. Petersburg and help ensure passenger comfort and safety on both the metro and trams.
During the visit by representatives of the St. Petersburg Administration and Metro, Nikolay Petrov, Deputy CEO of Movista Group — a strategic partner of TMH — reported on preparations for infrastructure projects involving the construction and delivery of rolling stock to the trolleybus depot on Vasilyevsky Island as part of the "Green Island" program. The relocation of Tram Depot No. 1 from Moskovsky Prospekt was also highlighted, a project that envisages the acquisition of more modern rolling stock.

The TMH stand featured rolling stock installations with full-scale samples of graphic information panels and media screens developed and manufactured by Transtelesoft (part of the TMH Intelligent Systems group of companies). SIP passenger information systems improve the level of information provided on board trains, and consequently the quality of service offered by the carrier. TMH technologies make passenger transport more technologically advanced, comfortable, and convenient for all of us, the passengers.
