EURASIAN FORUM ON TRAFFIC SAFETY AND DIGITALIZATION IN ALMATY

On October 3, the "Eurasian Forum on Safety and Digitalization in Railway Transport" was held in Almaty.

Forum participants included representatives of government bodies, railway administrations, national carriers from neighboring and other countries, the scientific community, educational institutions, and design organizations from Central Asia and the CIS.

The event addressed key issues of traffic safety and railway digitalization, as well as the development of preventive measures for carrying out transportation operations.

Companies of the TMH IS division presented their innovative developments at the forum:

• The BORT system — a locomotive traffic safety system that, since 2019, has been installed on more than 550 locomotives in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, and since 2025 its modification, BORT-R, has entered service on Russian railways.

• A modern new RTL locomotive radio station from RailNext LLC.

• The "PROGNOZ-PRO" mobile diagnostic complex for detecting faults in a locomotive's running gear.

• The Remote Video Control System (SDV) — provides the driver with visual monitoring of track clearance. 15 SDV kits have already been installed on locomotive trains of one of the largest coal-mining enterprises in Kazakhstan.

Dmitry Vitalievich Volkovsky, Head of the Development Department at Transtelesoft LLC, gave a presentation as part of the "Ensuring Railway Traffic Safety" session, discussing the development of traffic safety monitoring systems and advanced onboard locomotive systems, as well as promising products from the entire TMH Intelligent Systems group of companies.

During the forum, participants had the opportunity to see firsthand how the BORT system works when integrated with an automatic train operation system. We would like to thank the management of KTZ NC JSC for the opportunity to hold a scientific and practical working meeting at the Almaty locomotive depot.
