Technical Training for Instructor-Drivers, Drivers, and Decoding Technicians at NC KTZ Locomotive Depots Held by Transtelesoft and AVP Tekhnologiya Specialists

On October 8, 2024, at the driver technical training facility of the Astana locomotive depot, specialists from Transtelesoft LLC and AVP Tekhnologiya LLC held technical training sessions for instructor-drivers, drivers, and decoding technicians from NC KTZ locomotive depots operating locomotives equipped with the BORT onboard traffic safety system, covering the operating skills for the BORT and USAVP systems.

Using the BORT and RPDA decoding workstations, every stage of system interaction during a run was examined in detail — for passenger trains on a TEP33A-series diesel locomotive and for a freight train on a KZ8A-series electric locomotive.

The event enabled a useful exchange of experience between depot staff and system developers, since correct operation is essential to the effective use of modern equipment.
